Jeffrey Browen

Jeffrey Browen has been in private Optometric  practice in Sioux Fall, SD, since 1989 after graduating from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA, with a doctorate in Optometry.  Before gaining acceptance in to Optometry college, Dr Browen received a BS in Biology degree from the University of South Dakota in 1985 and a BS in Visual Sciences from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1987.  He has served on the South Dakota State Board of Optometry, belonged to many local, state and national organizations, and has served as a Primary Clinical Investigator for clinical trials for companies such as Bausch & Lomb, Alcon, Ciba Vision, Johnson & Johnson's Vistakon division and CooperVision.  His practice has been built on technology taking great pride in the many investments he has made in to technology to provide for top patient care.  Dr Browen's practice provides vision and eye health examinations, contact lens fittings, contact lenses, glasses and sunglasses, pre- and post-operative management of cataract and LASIK cases, speciality fittings for diseased corneas as those with keratoconus or dry eye disease, and works a great deal with the diagnosis and management of diseases of the eye to include cataract, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease and dry eye disease amongst other issues as treating eye infections and removing lid lesions.  He lives in Sioux Falls, SD, with his wife and two children.
